It's pretty clear that Israel's Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman is starting to crack while under investigation for countless instances of fraud.
What happened exactly?
From Ha'aretz:
Opposition leader Tzipi Livni on Friday accused Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman as having "erased in 20 minutes years of efforts to advance the peace process" when he declared that Israel was not bound by commitments it made at a 2007 summit in Annapolis to pursue creation of a Palestinian state
In an interview with Israel Radio, the Kadima chairwoman said she had expected Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to announce that he did not share Lieberman's expressed sentiments, and was disappointed that such clarification was not made.
Livni can be disappointed, but not surprised. Remember, it was Netanyahu who so despised the Oslo Accords and all those who signed on. He then dismantled the agreements point-by-point. It wouldn't be a surprise if Netanyahu agreed with Lieberman's words. Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman was questioned by
police on Friday for the second time since being sworn into his
position earlier this week.
Police questioned the foreign minister for more than five hours and said to expect another round in the coming week.
Lieberman was questioned on Thursday for more than seven hours about
suspicions of bribery, money laundering, fraud and breach of trust,
less than a day after he took office in the new government. National
fraud unit detectives questioned the chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu under
caution as a probe of his business-dealings proceeds.
